This home designed and largely built by Takumi Company is about 1500 Sq.Ft. Even though it is of traditional Japanese Post and Beam construction, modern western lifestyle is accommodated with cherry hardwood floors and windows placed for seating at standard furniture height. Radiant floor heating throughout provides ultimate comfort. Walls are built thicker than traditional to provide proper insulation and openings are enhanced with our custom made doors and windows. The owner, a talented woodworker himself, participated in the construction and continues to work on the house adding details as his time and funds allow.
