This recent project utilized very special high quality Alaskan Yellow Cedar from British Columbia. The client requested using only salvage or reclaimed lumber.  After extensive searching we located these logs that were abandoned during a logging operation several years before.

Opening the logs revealed beautiful, mostly clear material.

B2_resizeThe lumber was sawn and allowed to dry through one summer season. Moved into our shop, final dimensioning, layout and jointery cutout were begun.
